After Mass today at St. Thomas, we had the annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was a beautiful day to be hunting plastic eggs. Most Ellenburg Eggs collected? Madison at 29 eggs, no assistance this year. Grant a close 2nd at 21 eggs and Jackson only collected 6, but he did snag the Gold & Silver Winning eggs. He boasts that he has collected the Golden Egg 3 years in a row.

I know the all the words to Mr. Jones, 35, day 145
I have rediscovered my LOVE for the Counting Crows. Cd's we all have so many, where do you keep yours? After I've packed out my iPod, I store mine in the attic. Between my Husband and I, we have quite a grand collection up there if you don't mind the dust. This week I went up there and brought down 5 albums & loaded them on the iPod - great stuff, No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom, The first Hootie, The last Jewel, The Beatles Anthology (for my Beatles obsessed Children) and Counting Crows. I fired up the Counting Crows on my endless driving yesterday and...
I was instantly transported back to 1994. I'm rocking out, still know all the words. I'm quite impressive. The album was great for a girl starting out in life back in 1994 - to me it was all about where you are and where you are going and almost being good enough. It reminded me of all the things I wanted to do with my life. And still, I feel like I almost have it all, but I'm "Still Carving out my Name" Adam Duritz, you've still got it.
What else did I do....Well, Madison and I took another walk (or ride as I push her in her stroller), where she picked endless flowers.
And I started my first class from USA (University of South Alabama) - It's called LENS - Learn, Experience, iNspire & Share....it's supposed to get my creative juices flowing. Fingers Crossed. I'll be there all day Saturday, so I'm really looking forward to some excitement.
Til next time, Remember, Life is moving at blazing speeds - slow down and enjoy the little things, and download yourself some Counting Crows, I think we're all still carving out our names.

Catch up - 35, days 129-144
Life continues to swirl all around me and past me. Can you believe my baby is Eleven years old this week? or that my husband challenged my aging mother to a game of one on one? Well...it all happened this week. Enjoy a few photos as I attempt yet again to slow down and blog more. Fingers crossed.
Had as much fun taking these Eleven Year old photos as I did Editing them....sure do LOVE my software.
The Birthday cake was the REAL masterpiece. I added my Beatle to the group. What a tasty cake!
Jackson was so surprised & he LOVED it!
Funny mishap at the party, a mislaid beer made for an interesting photo.
Iphone saves the day. Grant made his first Penance this week in prep for his upcoming Holy Communion. I sadly, can not remember my Act of Contrition. I made an app for that. Sort of. Father didn't mind.
A few from yesterday's 2.5 mile walk run with my best girl, Madison.
A nice reminder to stop and smell the flowers.
Jumping and more Jumping.
Remember the Fox and Hound? Well, this morning at breakfast we saw the Fox and the Cat. I don't think they were friends.
OH, and Mike did challenge my mother to some One on One, she lost.
Until next time, Remember: Life is swirling past us at blazing speeds. Slow down and enjoy the little things.
